Re: Request for a One-Year Time Extension for Filing of the Final Plat for
Sundance Place Subdivision, by Engineering Solutions, LLP
(File No. TE-03-006).
We have reviewed the above-referenced submittal and offer the following comments, as
conditions of the applicant. These conditions shall be considered in full, unless expressly
modified or deleted by motion of the Meridian City Council:
APPLICATION SUMMARY & BACKGROUND
The applicant, Engineering Solutions, LLP, has requested approval of a one-year time extension
for filing of the final plat for Sundance Place Subdivision. The preliminary plat for this
subdivision was approved on November 19, 2002.
The proposed Sundance Place Subdivision is located on the east side of N. Meridian Road,
approximately ½ mile north of Ustick Road. The parcel is zoned R-8 and was approved for 144
single-family building lots with 5 common lots on 42.72 acres of land.
The applicant submitted the request for the time extension within one year of the original
approval, as required by MCC 12-3-8.
RECOMMENDATION
Planning and Zoning staff have no objection to the requested time extension, and recommend
approval of the requested one year time extension for the Final Plat.
