A RESiQLIITION AIITHORIZIR~'r PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF THE EXPENSES FOR
ALL PIIRPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COIINTY, IDAHO, FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING THE 1ST DAY OF JANUARY, 1973, A1'ID ENDING THE 31ST DAY OF
DECEMBER, 1973, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PIIBLIC HEARING PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF
THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COIINCIL OF THE CITY OF MERIDIAN,
ADA COIINTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That the following classified estimate of the probable
amount of mpney necessary to be raised for all purposes in the City of
Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year of December, 1973, be
published in the~Valle~ News-Times, a weekly newspaper published in the
City of Meridian, for two publications beginning with the issue of March 8th
and 15th, 1973, and the Notice of Public Hearing on said estimate and probably
levy required to raise said sum be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the City of
Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:

Total . ~ 297,865.55
Section 3. That the probable amount necessary for all purposes for the
City of Meridian for the said fiscal year ending December 31, 1973, is as
follows:

Section 4. That the assessed valuation of the said City of Meridian is
X3,424,245.00.
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the estimated expenses and
appropriation therefor as herein set forth will require a levy for general
reserve and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian of not to exceed
35 mills on the dollar, and in compliance with Section 50-1003,-Idaho Code,
the Mayar and the City Council will hold a public hearing on March 26, 1973,7:30
P.M.~: at which time any person interested may appear and protest such
proposed estimate and levy prior to passage of an annual app~rop~riation bill.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor of the City of
Meridian, this 5th day of March, 1973.
