A RESOLUTION AUTHORISING PUBLICATION OF AN ESTIMATE OF EXPENSES
FOR ALL PURPOSES FOR THE CITY OF MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING THE FIRST DAY OF MAY9 1959, APID
ENDING. THE. 30TH DAY OF APRIL, 1960, AND GIVING NOTICE OF
PUBLIC i~EARING PRIOR TO PASSAGE OF THE ATJNUAL APPROPRTA.TION
BILL.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MERIDIAN, ADA COUNTY, IDAHO : -
Section 1. That the folloiring classified estimate of the pro-
bable amount of maney necessary to be raised for all purposes in
the City of Meridian,. Ada County, Idaho, for the fiscal year begin-
ning the first day of May, 1959, and ending the 30th day of April.,
1960, be published in The Recorder, a weekly newspaper published in
the City of Meridian for two publications beginning with the issue
of June 25th 1959 and thet Notice of Public hearing on said estimate
and probable levy required to raise said sum be published therewith.
Section 2. That a statement of the entire revenue of the City
of Meridian for the previous fiscal year is as follows:-

Section 3. That the probable amount necessary for all pur-
ses for the City of Meridian for the said fiscal year ending

Section 4. That the assessed valuation. of the said City of
Meridian for :the year 1959 is appr~im~.tely the sum of X1,315,$02.40.
Section 5. Notice is hereby given that the extimated.expenses
and appropriations therefor as herein set forth will require a levy
for general revenue and municipal purposes for the City of Meridian
of not to exceed 20 mills on the dollar and in compliance with
Section 50-1102, Idaho Code, the Mayor and City Council wi]1 hold
a public hearing on July 6, 1959 at $:00 P. M., at the City
Hall in the said City of Meridian, Ada County, Idaho, at which time
any person interested may appear and protest such proposed estimate
and levy prior to passage of an annual appropriation bill.
Passed by the pity Council and approved by the Mayor of the
City of Meridian, This 1st day of June, 1959•
