HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004 01-12 Special WWTPWastewater Treatment Plant Facility Plan Update January 12, 2004
A Special Public Meeting / Hearing for Reviewing and Considering the City of Meridian’s Draft Wastewater
Treatment Plant Facility Plan Update was called to order at 7:00 P.M., on Monday, January 12, 2004 by City Engineer Brad Watson.
Attendees: Len Grady, Gary Smith, John Shawcroft, Brad
Watson, Will Berg, Tim Tekippe, Bill Benko, and Stuart Harley.
Watson: Welcome to the City of Meridian’s public meeting for receiving comment on the draft wastewater facility plant
update. The purpose of tonight’s meeting is two-fold: to receive public comment on the draft plan and secondly to meet the public meeting requirements of Idaho Department of Environmental
Quality regarding submittal of the plan. The draft facility plan study includes population projections, evaluation of existing infrastructure and plan improvements to accommodate growth
treatment reliability and projective discharge regulations. Is there anyone here to hear the wastewater facility plant update? There being none, I guess we will close this public meeting.
Minutes of this meeting will be on file with the City Clerk’s Office if they would like to review it. With that the plan is also available for public review at the City Clerk’s Office.
Written comments will be received through January 20, 2004 at the City Clerk’s Office. If there is no one here to offer comments or testimony on this plan, we will adjourn this special
public meeting at 7:04 p.m.
MEETING ADJOURNED AT 7:04 PM.
