The Special Meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 4:30 P.M. on
June 18, 2002, by Mayor Robert Corrie.
Members Present: Robert Corrie, Cherie McCandless, Bill Nary, Tammy de Weerd, and
Keith Bird.
Others Present: Bill Nichols and Will Berg.
Corrie: I am going to open the City Council Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 18,
2002 at 4:30 P.M. here at the City Council Chambers. All members of the Council are
present. I will entertain a motion to go into Executive Session.
Item 3. Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345 (1) (f):
Corrie: I will entertain a motion to go into Executive Session.
Nary: Mr. Mayor, I would move that pursuant to Idaho Code 67-2345 (f) we go into
Executive Session.
Bird: Second.
Corrie: Motion has been made and seconded. Roll-Call vote please.
Roll-Call: Nary, aye; Bird, aye; De Weerd, aye; McCandless, aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
(Members in Executive Session)
Corrie: I guess we’ve got a quorum.
Bird: Mr. Mayor?
Corrie: Mr. Bird.
Bird: I move that we come out of the Executive Session.
Nary: Second.
Corrie: Motion made and seconded to come out of Executive Session. All those in
favor say aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Corrie: As we end the Executive Session, nothing was—no decisions were made in
that session so, at this time, I will close the Executive Session and recommend that you
give me a motion to recess until the regular meeting.

Bird: Mr. Mayor?
Corrie: Mr. Bird.
Bird: I move that we close the special meeting.
Nary: Second.
Corrie: Okay. All in favor of the special meeting closing say aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
MEETING ADJOURNED AT 6:10 P.M.
