Summary of Public Hearing:
The applicant, Donn Reiswig, testified in favor of the application.
No other public testimony was presented at the hearing
Key issues of discussion and questioning by Commission included:
Questioning followed the special considerations in the staff report, including the
temporary use/timeline, signs, stacking, parking/paving, and landscaping.
Key Commission Additions to Staff Recommendation:
The Commission modified the process by which the applicant may request a 12-
month extension of the temporary use. The modification allows P&Z staff to approve
the request, provided that no complaints are received during the initial 12 months. If
a complaint is received, the extension will require a public hearing with the P&Z
Commission for a decision. This process is similar to the process home occupation
requests go through.
The Commission added a specific size to the required parking stalls, at 9 x 19, in
conformance with City ordinance.
