Summary of July Public Hearing:
Mr. Seegmiller testified in favor of the CUP and clarified his opposition to any
vehicular cross-access agreement between his lot in Gaudry-Seegmiller Subdivision
and the lot in Resolution Subdivision to the south.
Mr. Larry Knopp, representing the Applicant, testified in favor of the application and
gave a brief history of the cross access points within Resolution Sub.
Mr. David Wishney, attorney, testified in opposition to a cross-access condition being
placed on the applicant.
Summary of August Public Hearing:
Staff informed the P&Z Commission of City Council’s approval of the Gaudry-
Seegmiller re-subdivision and the condition to provide a temporary emergency access
point with bollards and chain at the south boundary of the Seegmiller Dental lot.
Mr. Larry Knopp noted the applicant’s agreement with this condition and confirmed
the site plan was re-drawn to reflect this modification.
Key Commission Changes to Staff Recommendation: None
Outstanding Issues for City Council:
Council will need to reference the revised Site Plan, submitted to the City of
Meridian on September 10, 2003, which provides the temporary emergency access on
the south boundary.
