Modifioations to the Reclaimed Water Interpretive Plaza. To be designed and stamped by a registered P.E. All designs must meet DEQ, ACRD, City of Meridian requirements and standards, and ISPWC standards: 1. We would like to have the water from the water feature drain to the gravity sewer in Ten Mile Rd by means of a pressurized system. We would ldce to have this accomplished between two separate projects; the Heroes Park Phase 3 project and the future Reclaimed Water Booster Station project. The Heroes Park project will design and construct first with the Reclaimed Water Booster Station project designing and extending the system to the gravity sewer in Ten Mile Rd. We would like the Heroes Park Phase 3 pro'ect to include 1) the pumping design to get the water to tine gravity sewer in Ten Mile and 2}i to design the pressurized line from the pumping source to a location approximately 10' west of the new north-south pathway (where it should be capped and marked) between the pathway on the north side of the existing irrigation pond and the existing trees. The drain line bury depth shall meet the minimum requirements of the agency having jurisdiction. Drain lines under anything other than sod need to be sleeved for future access. The future Reolaimed Water Booster Station project will design and construct the extension of the drain line to the gravity sewer in Ten Mile Rd. The existing concrete design for the plaza is sloped away from the water feature and the existing asphalt pathway slopes towards the proposed cancrete at the plaza creating a potential for standing water. We would like to have the features and/or gales redesigned to eliminate the potential of standing water. The reclaimed water far the water feature, restrooms, and irrigation was originally designed to come from the existing well house. We have revised the source of the reclaimed water to come directly from the existing reclaimed water line in Ten Mile Rd. We would like to have this accomplished between two separate projects; the Heroes Park Phase 3 project and the future Reclaimed Water Booster Station project. The Heroes Park Phase 3 project design needs to include the design to: a) Tee into the existing 6" irrigation line (this line runs north south and is located approximately 2' west of the new north-south pathway at the west side of the park) with a new 6" reclaimed water line. From the tee, the new 6" reclaimed water line needs to head west and be designed with a master valve and flow sensor (see "Attachment A" for all pertaining diagrams and materials needed}. The line through the flow sensor and then the master valve shall be 6" and then shall ti~size to an 8" reclaimed water line. The 8" reclaimed water line will need an isolation valve and then head west to a point just beyond the length to accomplish item 7b where it will terminated (capped and marked). The future Reclaimed Water Booster Station project will design to extend the 8" reclaimed water line to the main line in Ten Mile Rd. b) With the original design, the 2" reclaimed water line was installed beginning from a point 10' north of the existing pump house (where the original water source was planned) and then heading north to a point wear the NW comer of the proposed water feature. At the NW comer, there were isolation valves installed and ieclaimed water service lines installed to the restrooms. The 2" reclaimed water line terminated near the pump house needs to be revised to tie into the 8" reclaimed water line, from item 7a, west of the 8" isolation valve. A 2" isolation valve needs to be added to the 2" reclaimed water line at the connection to the 8" reclaimed water line. Increase (decrease) in contract price $ 2 ~ ti ~ ' O° 8. The reclaimed water feature shall be designed to automatically compensate for evaporation and replenish the amount of reclaimed water. We need to have a method designed to automatically turn this system off, to prevent the possibilities of overflow, in the event of a malfunction.
