The meeting of the Golf Course Construction Committee was called to order by Walt
Morrow at 4:23 P. M.:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Grant Kingsford, Patsy Fedrizzi, Wally Lovan, John Ewing, Brad
Watson:
Morrow: The first thing we will discuss is the financial report, Patsy?
Fedrizzi: We have the latest from Janice, I don't know if you (inaudible) there is no change,
or there was a little change on that I guess and I just called her today and requested that
because I didn't know if you had already done that. Then here is my financial report and
it has not changed either since last time. It hadn't changed as of the time that I had typed
this up this morning. However we just got another membership in from the Berg family for
$2500. I just spoke with Keith Bird who still has to talk with a couple members of the
Meridian Athletic Association. He kind of personally liked the idea of doing an annual golf
tournament that they may already do that he wants us to (inaudible} to get to the players.
Fred Flippance had the same feeling and wants a little extension of time so that he can get
back to his bosses. So that is the only two left now of the bunch. Wayne Crookston did not
go with it, Craig Rambo, Bob Rutz who thought really might. So there were a few there,
so the two that are left now Keith Bird (inaudible).
Morrow: So I think the point is that we take what we goi; and put it together (inaudible)
Fedrizzi: We know right now that we have an additional $2500 added to this $20,263.55
and a potential and a pretty strong potential for $5000 more. I don't think either one of
them are looking at big at $10,000 I didn't have that impression, but I don't even know that.
Both of them seemed to like the idea of an annual for the next 20 years, 25 passes, US
Bank may go at the $5000 for 50, I don't know. I am thinking we are looking at the smaller
numbers. I don't know if you want me to in future meetings what you are going to be doing
in the future but I wanted to offer me help and if Wally was here so he could know that if
you are going to do a golf tournament at the end of this to do something fun or fundraiser
or anything then I will certainly be happy to come in and help.
Morrow: (Inaudible)
Fedrizzi: The drawing for the golf clubs and the bag once we know who all we have in
those names that came in on any of the corporate or lifetime which we had none
memberships all qualified for a drawing for the golf clubs and bag valued at $500. So at
some point we will have to talk about when we are going to do that. Then what I was going
to say and half the players aren't here but those of you that are I have had a great time,
it has been really interesting. It has really been fund and so I am happy to have been part
of it. If she every types the meetings you will get that in writing.

Morrow: It has been a pleasure having you here to brighten this otherwise dull meeting.
Fedrizzi: That is my report, I have the contracts and I just gave John his and I will get the
rest of them distributed. One copy of each goes to Cherry Lane Golf Course, one to the
City of Meridian, I will give back to Will and one each to the persons. Now I guess I will
have to do another one all of these are for the big $10,000 I guess we will do them for the
$2500 as well. Anybody that has a long term. So I will hold off on the contracts on Will's
but I will go ahead and get those. There will be expenses coming up from those and from
getting the passes done but we already know that is minimal dollars.
Morrow: And you will take care of both of those.
F~drizzi: I will continue to take care of anything that you guys want me to do. I will certainly
follow though with the passes and the contracts.
Morrow: (Inaudible) John, issues that you may have?
Ewing: I have no issues other fihan getting it out to bid.
Morrow: I guess as I have thought this over and reviewed my notes from the meeting
(Inaudible) is that we don't have a lot to discuss today other than getting the proposal out
to bid. I think that what we do from here is I talked with Bob is get this thing signed and
going and if that is a problem with (inaudible) bring that before the City Council tomorrow
night and have them debate it and in the format (inaudible) if we need to restructure the
letter then so be it that is what we do. (Inaudible) then we will get the stuff back and go
from there. Now having said that is there any point of us (inaudible) we can do a 25 or 30
minute meeting two weeks today and another one in 30 days if you feel that (inaudible).
Ewing: The only thing I can #hink of is other than just out of curiosity I would like to at least
have a phone call from Will or something saying that we are advertising. We need to
decide also and who is going to run, we do have apre-bid mandatory pre-bid meeting that
we could raise some real questions on. I don't know, are you thinking, you could probably
just handle all of that stuff but maybe we would have to talk about some of those questions
that come up. I don't know, I am just throwing out
Morrow: Well the thing is that is a good point for discussion. When we have that pre-bid
meeting it makes certain sense to have Brad here who wrote the documents conducting
the meeting and then if three or four of us from the committee at the same meeting to
answer any questions that may come up that he needs help with or those (Inaudible). So
let's do that.

Fedrizzi: So how will we be notified, Will will notify us?
Watson: If this is published (inaudible) but there is a date on there (inaudible)
Ewing: I just can't understand why Gary would write this note if he didn't do it: Unless he
called up this morning and jerked it out of there which could have happened.
Watson: (Inaudible)
Ewing: I would have thought he would have jerked the (inaudible).
Morrow: (Inaudible)
