State AveAGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 2~ day of ~~~~~ , 1995, by and between PLANMAKERS, hereafter referred to as "PLANMARERS", and the CITY OF MERIDIAN, a municipal corporation of the State of Idaho, hereafter referred to as "CITY". RECITALS: PLANMAKERS has previously prepared nominations for National Register of Historic Places Nominations and is knowledgeable of the requirements for such nominations. PLANMAKERS' previous nominations have received designations as National Register of Historic Places. CITY is desirous of having the home at 134 East State Avenue, legally described as Lots 9 and 10, Block 5, F. A. Nourse, Second Addition, according to the official plat thereof, filed in Book 2 of Plats at Page 64, Official Records of Ada County, Idaho., designated as a National Historic Place. AC~iREED4ENT NOW, THEREFORE, in mutual consideration of the covenants contained herein, and .the payment by CITY of ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED and NO/l00 DOLLPiRS ($1,200.00), as consideration for the services provided by PLANMAKERS, the parties agree as followss 1. PLANMAKERS agrees to prepare a nomination of the home for the National Register of Historic Places. 2. PLANMAKERS will utilize the archives of the Idaho State Historical Society and the Meridian Public Library as well HISTORIC PLACES NOMINATION AGR}~EMENT Page ~N 1 as available information from members of the Meridian Historic Preservation Commission. 3. That Planmakers will prepare the nomination and photographs in accordance with the proc®dures of the Idaho State Historic Preservation Office; it will engage in the research, take the photographs, and prepare th® nomination; the nomination will be prepared on the appropriate form and include a USGS map as well as three high-quality 3 1/2 by 5-inch black and white photographs capturing the home's best architectural details; the nomination will be available on disk. 4. PLANMARERS' work will commenc® work immediately after notification to proceed; that a draft nomination will be submitted on the ~~ day of ~~~ 19.95, and the final nomination shall be completed on the ~S day of ~ n ~ , 1995. 5. PLANMAKERS will give a public presentation about the home's architecture and the building's significance. 6. If the Nomination for Historical Places is granted to the CITY, the CITY will receive a grant in the sum of ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED and NO/100 DOLLARS ($1,200.00), which will be used to reimburse the City for the consideration the City will pay to PLANMAKERS ~ the City shall be under no obligation to pay PLANMAKERS any additional sum' of money if the City does receive the Nomination; if the City does not receive the Nomination for Historical Places, the City shall not be entitled to any reimbursement from PLANMAKERS.
