HomeMy WebLinkAboutPlanning Follow Up Letter 3/3/10E IDIAN Mr. Jim Jewett Linder 109, LLC 1560 Carol Street Meridian, ID 83642 March .3, 2010 RE: Southridge Subdivision No 1 -Final Plat Modification (MFP-~09-004) Dear Mr..Jewett: MayorTammy de Weerd City Council Members: Keith Bird Brad Hoaglun Charles Rountree David Zaremba RFCFrvE.U MAR 0 3 2010 CITY OF C:C~f IDIAN CITY CLERKS OFFICE Per the City Council's action at the public hearing on March 2, 2010 for the proposed modification to the Southridge Subdivision No. final plat, please note the following: 1. the Council denied the applicant's request to construct the northern half street section of Heavy Timber Drive plus an additional twelve feet with an interim gravel shoulder instead of the full street section as shown on the construction drawings approved with the final plat.. 2.. The Council approved the applicant's request to construct 5-foot wide detached sidewalks with 8- foot wide landscaped parkways along S Spanish Sun Way and S Spanish Fork Way instead of 10-foot wide attached sidewalks as previously approved 3. In regard to the applicant's request for clarification that certain amenities (i.e the multi-use pathway and 5-foot wide buffer along the Ridenbaugh, the clubhouse and swimming pool, the private park/landscape buffers and approximately 8.9 acres of common area) required in the development agreement to be constructed and/or dedicated {as applicable) with the first phase of development, may be deferred until such time as the applicable phases within which they are associated area platted, the Council determined that a modification to the development agreement is necessary in order to officially defer these items 4 the Council denied the applicant's request to install fewer street lights within the development and along Overland and Linder Roads, and required the applicant to install streetlights consistent with the street light plan approved by Public Works on December 2, 2009.. In accordance with MCC 1-7-10, you have the option to request City Council reconsider their action on this matter A11 requests for reconsideration must be in writing and presented to the City Clerk no more than seven (7) calendar days after the Council action and decision have been rendered, The request must include information as stated in UDC 1-7-10A. the Council will consider the request at the next regularly scheduled meeting and this will be the final decision of the Council. If the Council denies the request, the findings of facts, conclusions of law, decision, and order for the affected project will be approved„ If the City Council giants the request, the requesting party must pay the fee ($692) for a new public hearing within ten {10) calendar days of Council granting the reconsideration, Please see MCC 1- 7-10 for additional process information If you should have any questions regarding this mattes, please don't hesitate to call Sonya Watters at 208- 884-5533.
