As you are aware the time extension for the Recordation of Golfview Estates No. 4 and No. 5 Subdivisions expires on the 20th of June 1996. These plats are currently on the June 12th agenda for the Ada County Highway District Council meeting. Assuming the plats and the Nondevelopment agreements are approved at this meeting the plats could be submitted to the Ada. County Engineering Department, the recording agency, for the final review the following day, June 13, 1996. However, due to the backlog of work at this agency the plats will probably not be ready to record by the expiration date. We. respectfully request a 60 day time extension to complete the recordation of these_ plats i necessary_ Please let me know if this is possible and what needs to be done to avoid any possible complications. STORMWATER MANAGEMENT RECONIlVIENDATIONS We recommend that the first one half inch of stormwater be pretreated through a grassy Swale prior to discharge to the subsurface to prevent impact to groundwater and surface water quality. The engineers and architects involved with -the design of this project should obtain current best management practices for stormwater disposal and design a stormwater management system that is preventing groundwater and surface water degradation. Manuals that could be used for guidance are: 1) STORMWATER MANAGEMENT MANUAL FOR THE PUGET SOUND, State of Washington Department of Ecology, February 19892 2) ADA COUNTY HIGHWAY DISTRICT GUIDELINES FOR STORMWATER AND SITE DRAINAGE MANAGEMENT 3) CALIFORNIA BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICE HANDBOOK Prepared by Camp Dresser and McKee, Larry Walker Assoc., Uribe and Assoc., Resources Planning Assoc., for the Stormwater Quality Task Force 4) URBAN STORM DRAINAGE CRITERIA MANUAL Volume 3, Best Management Practices Stormwater Quality Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, Denver, Colorado Serving Valley, Elmore, Boise, and Ada Counties Ada / Boise Carly Office WIC Base • Meridan Elmore Canty OAke Elmore Carry Office 707 N.
