Summary of Public Hearing:
The applicant’s representative, Larry Knopp, testified in favor of the application.
Mr. Knopp requested one staff condition be revised. Instead of removing two parking
stalls at the southeast corner of site, he proposed making the stalls compact. Brief
discussion revolved around this issue during the hearing and the Commission’s
motion retained staff’s recommendation.
Key Commission Changes to Staff Recommendation: None
Outstanding Issues for City Council:
Since the P&Z Commission hearing, the applicant has proposed installing “Doctor
Parking Only” signs at the southeast corner of the site instead of removing the stalls,
as required by the Commission. This will need to be discussed at the City Council
hearing.
