Matched Precipitation Rates Sprinkler heads must have matched precipitation rates within each control valve circuit. Irrigation Zones Sprinkler heads irrigating lawn or other high-water-demand areas must be circuited so that they aze on a separate zone or zones from those imgating trees, shrubs, or other reduced- water-demand areas. Imgation Water Source Use of non-potable imgation water is required when determined to be available by the City Public Works Department as regulated by City Ordinance 9-1-28. If city potable water is used, a separate water meter is recommended so the owner can avoid paying sewer fees for imgation water. Potable water shall not be used as a primary irrigation water source on non-residential lots with more than 'h acre of landscaping.
