Summary of Public Hearing:
The applicant’s representative, Michael Nye, testified in favor of the application.
No other public testimony was presented at the hearing
Key issue of discussion and questioning by Commission included:
1. Whether or not there is an existing easement associated with the ditch shown
to be tiled in the street buffers along Linder and Franklin that would preclude
the planting of the trees shown on the landscape plan. The applicant testified
that there is no easement that would preclude the required trees.
Key Commission Additions to Staff Recommendation:
The Commission added an acknowledgement that the proposed parking is adequate to
meet the needs for the proposed use.
The Commission added a statement regarding the applicant’s confirmation that no
easement would exist that would preclude the required landscape buffer trees and that
landscaping would be required per the approved landscape plan.
