Re: Filter Bypass Piping
Dear Brad:
I have reviewed the requirements for the filter bypass piping and estimate that it would
take approximately 8 hours of my time and 16 hours of designer time to complete a
drawing sufficient for obtaining quotes on the work. I propose that the work- be
completed on an hourly rate basis per the attached rate schedule, with an upper limit: of
$2,500, unless the scope changes.
The above estimated man-hours do not include formal bidding documents. 'The
construction value of the work will probably be in the $20,000-$25,000 range; so bidding
should not be necessary. If the cost exceeds $25,000, a change order could be processed
with Turnkey, if we can get a reasonable price.
If the above meets with your approval, please indicate the City's agreement by executing
the attached signature page.
