Hello:
I'm sending a letter notifying residents we'd like to continue the October 15th Public Hearing regarding the
Washington/Washington street name changes until we can meet in a more informal neighborhood meeting with all involved.
We thought it would be helpful if several of the Street Name Committee Members who are the driving force behind this
suggested change (namely Ada County Sheriff's Dept. Dispatch) have a chance to explain the reasons for their
recommendation. We'd also like to include a representative from the Fire Dept., etc. at this informal meeting. (Yet to be
scheduled, I might add.)
We know making the recommendation isn't something to be done lightly, so hopefully this will be a good forum, prior to the
Public Hearing, for everyone involved. Thank you all for your help and suggestions.
