Meridian Pre-Council Meeting August 11, 2009
A meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday,
August 11, 2009, by City Council President Charlie Rountree.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Charlie Rountree, Keith Bird, Brad
Hoaglun, and David Zaremba.
Others Present: Bill Nary, Jaycee Holman, John Overton, Joe Silva, and Dean Willis.
Item 1. Roll-call Attendance:

Rountree: It's August 11~h at 6:00 P.M. and I'm opening the Pre-Council Meeting for the
City of Meridian. City Clerk call roll call.
Item 2. Adoption of the Agenda:
Rountree: The next Item is the adoption of the agenda.
Zaremba: Mr. President.
Rountree: Mr. Zaremba.
Zaremba: I move we adopt the agenda as published.
Hoaglun: Second.
Rountree: It's been moved and seconded to adopt the agenda as published. All in
favor. Apposed same sign. Motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Item 3. Executive Session per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(f) - (to consider
and advise its legal representatives in pending litigation) & (c) To conduct
deliberations concerning the acquisition of an interest in real property:
Rountree: The next item is Executive Session.
Bird: Mr. President.
Rountree: Mr. Bird.

Bird: I move that we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(f)
& (1)(c).
Hoaglun: Second.
Rountree: It's been moved and seconded to go into Executive Session roll call vote.
Nary: Mr. President, before you take a vote Item (c) is not ready to go forward tonight
so you only need to do Item (f).
Rountree: Just (f) okay. Motion maker and second?
Bird: I agree.
Hoaglun: Second.
Rountree: Roll call vote.
Roll Call Vote: Bird, aye; Zaremba, aye; Rountree, aye; Hoaglun, aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
De Weerd: Council I would entertain a motion to come out of Executive Session.
Rountree: So moved.
Bird: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor say aye. All ayes motion carried. For the record I have
joined the Executive Session since I was not in the attendance roll call.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
De Weerd: Council we're at the end of our Pre-Council agenda. I would entertain a
motion to adjourn.
Rountree: So moved.
Bird: Second.
De Weerd: All those in favor.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
