The special meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m. on January 25, 2000, by Council President Keith Bird.
Members present: Keith Bird, Ron Anderson, Tammy deWeerd, Cherie McCandless.
Others present: Shari Stiles, Tom Kuntz, Kenny Bowers, Reta Cunningham, Bill Nichols, Will Berg, Bill Gigray, Pauline Skeggs.
Bird: I will call the City Council Special meeting for Tuesday, January 25th at 7:30 p.m. Roll-call, please, Mr. Clerk. We are here to go into an Executive Session. I will entertain
a motion at this time to go into Executive Session.
Anderson: Mr. President, I would make a motion that we go into Executive Session subject to Idaho State Code 67-2345 to consider advice and legal counsel about pending litigation.
deWeerd: Second.
Bird: Okay. We’ve got a motion and a second. We’ll have a roll-call vote.
Roll-call vote: McCandless, aye; Anderson, aye; deWeerd, aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES
Bird: Okay. I would entertain a motion to come out – it is 9:27. I’ll entertain a motion to come out of the Executive Session.
Anderson: So moved.
deWeerd: Moved and seconded to come out.
Roll-call vote: McCandless, aye; Anderson, aye, deWeerd, aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES
Bird: We have no decisions reached in our meeting, so I would entertain a motion to adjourn the Special Meeting of the City Council.
Anderson: So moved.
McCandless: Second.
Bird: All in favor?
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES
Bird: Now we’ll go back into our workshop.
EXECUTIVE SESSION ADJOURNED AT 9:27 P.M.
