The special meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order on Thursday, August 24, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Robert D. Corrie.
Members present: Robert Corrie, Keith Bird, Cherie McCandless, Tammy deWeerd, Ron Anderson.
Others Present: Wade Larsen, Bill Nichols, Pauline Skeggs, Will Berg
Corrie: Okay, we’ll open the City Council special meeting on Thursday, August 24, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. where the City Council is to hold an Executive Session. Roll-call vote, please,
Mr. Clerk – well, let the record show that everyone is here including the attorney and Wade from IEC. With that, I’ll open the meeting and entertain a motion to go into Executive Session
according to City Code Section 67-2345(b).
Bird: So moved.
McCandless: Second.
Corrie: Motion made and seconded to go into Executive Session. All those in favor say aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES
Corrie: Okay, we are coming out of Executive Session; I’ll entertain a motion to do so.
Bird: So moved.
McCandless: Second.
Corrie: Motion made and seconded to come out of the Executive Session. All those in favor say aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES
Corrie: Nothing was done other than receiving information on personnel issues. I’ll entertain a motion to adjourn.
Bird: So moved.
McCandless: Second.
Corrie: Motion made and seconded to adjourn at 9:25 p.m. All those in favor of the motion say aye.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES
MEETING ADJOURNED AT 9:25 PM.
