HomeMy WebLinkAbout1996 02-06 SpecialMERIDIAN CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING FEBRUARY 6. 1996 The special meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 5:35 p.m. on February 6, 1996 by Mayor Corrie. MEMBERS PRESENT: Walt Morrow, Charlie Rountree, Glenn Bentley, Ron Tolsma. OTHERS PRESENT: Mayor Bob Corrie, Wayne Crookston, Bill Gordon, Will Berg, Corrie: All right, Council, it's now 5:35. We're having a special meeting that's now being held Tuesday, February the 6th. I would ask that — you want to have your statement first before we go — (inaudible) Crookston: I will give a preliminary statement. I need to be sworn. We need to go into executive session. Corrie: You want us to go into that now? All right. I'll entertain a motion to go into executive session. Morrow: So moved. Rountree: Second. Corrie: Motion made by Mr. Morrow, second by Mr. Rountree to go into executive session. Roll -call; Mr. Morrow. Morrow: Aye. Corrie: Mr. Bentley. Bentley: Aye. Corrie: Mr. Rountree. Rountree: Aye. Corrie: Mr. Tolsma. Tolsma: Aye. Corrie: Hearing all ayes, we are now in the executive session. Corrie: We are — go back into the regular session, special meeting session, and I will entertain a motion for that meeting to close. Tolsma: So moved. Meridian City Council Special Meeting February 6, 1996 Page 2 Bentley: Second. Corrie: Made by Mr. Tolsma, second by Mr. Bentley. All those in favor say aye. MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES Corrie: Okay.
