Joe:
This e-mail is to confirm our discussion on June 3, 2009, concerning the addressing of the
Crossfield apartments and the conditions of approval in the RZ-09-002 staff report. It was
your determination that the future five apartment buildings could be addressed from W.
Parkstone Street with each building having a different number and the apartment numbers
corresponding with the floor number. You indicated that it is not necessary to require the
applicant to install a public or private road within the apartment project. The
elimination of DA condition 1.2d, "Either public or private streets shall be provided for
addressing purposes within the multi-family development north of W. Parkstone Street." The
elimination fire department comment 3.12, "The Fire Dept. has concerns about the ability
to address the project and have the addresses visible from the street which the project is
addressed off of. Therefore, the Fire Department is recommending private street be
provided within the development."
The developer agreed to coordinate with the Fire Department on the addressing and provide
a directory at the entrance of the project.
