Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District is requesting all work stop immediately at this project until
issues with encroachment upon District facilities can be addressed.
Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District's Milks Lateral is directly affected by this project. The
minimum easement for this facility is fifty feet (50'); twenty-five feet (25') each side of center. There
is currently pavement on a portion of the District's easement as well as trees planted directly over its
facility. Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District's ability to operate and maintain this facility has
been adversely affected.
Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District has not been given an opportunity to comment on this project
directly. Therefore Nampa & Meridian Irrigation District is requesting the City of Meridian hold up
this project until the developers can be contacted to address the District's concerns.
