Ferric chloride is being used to control struvite in the new digesters and centrate return
system. The City would like to use bulk storage instead of the current totes. Construction
drawings will be developed from the existing CEPT feed drawings to reduce engineering
costs. The project will be constructed as a change order to an existing construction contract.
Deliverables will be a ehange order package and not public bid documents.

CI-i2M HILL will perform the tasks for design of the Ferric Chloride feed facilities as
outlined below.
Task 1-Project anaement
Project management includes project scoping, staff management, task coordination,
monitoring project progress, preparing invoices, and ensuring project quality control..
Task 2-esign
2,1 Prepare Plans and Specifications
Plans will be produced to allow the Contractor to price the work. Equipment specifications
will be noted on the drawings. The following is the anticipated list of drawings:
® Site Plan/Yard Piping
• fiction and Details
• Structural Nates, and Details
• Electrical Schedules & Diagrams
2.2 IDEA Submlttai
Two copies of plans and specifications will be submitted to TDEQ for approval to construct.

Compensation
lave! of Effort
The task level of effort estimate is $7500. CH2M HILL has developed this level of effort
estimate based on the work plan presented herein and assumptions stated previously. The

fees will be billed as tune and material, and will not exceed the total amount below without
prior approval by the City.
Schedule
We can proceed without a contract when a letter or e-mail notice to proceed is received. The
IDEQ submittal can be done in two weeks.
