Baesiger, Inc. General Contractor 8~ Developer June 19, 1989 Meridian City Council City Hall Meridian, ID HAND CARRIED Gentlemen: 6479 GLENWOOD, SUITE A BOISE, ID 83703 (208) 853.2001 It is my understanding that Mr. Byington is requesting a building permit for a mobile home installation in the Sunnybrook Farms Subdivision, which has a preliminary plat approval for single family homes, has been annexed to the city, and is zoned R-2. I have discussed this mobile home proposal with the other owners of the Sunnybrook ground properties, which include the Gealy-Johnson ownership, myself, and Bill Knapp. We believe that the housing market will again improve in the Meridian area and that Sunnybrook is and will be one of the finer projects in the Meridian area. Each of us are of the opinion that a mobile home installation on the approximately 2 acres now owned by Mr. Byington will be detrimental to the future marketing of the Sunnybrook Farms project,. which contains 65 acres. Therefore, we request that the City of Meridian deny this request fora mobile home building permit. Attached is a copy of the preliminary plat and the location of the proposed mobile home. ~~ Sincerely, ~' ~~~ '~ a Boes MAB:row cc: J. Kingsford: I would recommend to the Council that we exclude this one from the turn off list. Anyone else from the public? Come forward and state your name. Steven Cady, Meridian Mobile Home Park: The water and trash bill has been paid, the sewer is what seems to be the question here. I received my sewer bill for March and it was about $1,200.00. We did have some major leaks in the park and Gary had adjusted the bill about $203.00 but it is still a $1,000.00 sewer bill. I have written a letter to Gary, Mayor Kingsford and Jack. This bill is an increase of 54~ over the highest bill I have ever received. I paid the water because we wasted it but I can't see paying a huge sewer bill for running it out on the road. . & M1X .:~~. rt~r- i { I v z ~ k f ]I I k ! ~. : } (, ~ k i h~.iy`"'.~~ ~ ~ 'k ~.
