Re: Cherry Lane Golf Course
Irrigation Pond Overflow Spillway
Your drawing No. B-801113-1 submitted to the City for review and approval
is being returned herewith with comments thereon. The drawing was referred to
the attention of each council member for their comments. The general feeling
was that the spillway should be constructed of amore permanent and durable
material than the proposed 2" drain rock. Another suggestion was to install a
pipe through the dike at the pond bottom elevation with a gate in the pipe
that could be opened and closed as required. This pipe could be located near
the bank of the lake so that access to the gate wouldn't be a big problem.
