It has come to my attention through clients that th~xe _is__a .prvbs_em
in the management or employee attitude at your Cherry Lane Village golf
course club house. Although this incident was related to me, as I wasn't
present, I think you should be aware of it.
T had a couple in from San Jose, Calif,, this past weekend to buy a
home, After working with them for three days, Saturday evening they de-
cided to drive to Meridian on-their own. I had told them about Cherry Lane
Village but they had been convinced by friends to live closer to downtown
Boise. To make sure that they weren't missing out and to convince them-
selves, they took the drive out to Meridian. Upon arriving, they went to
the club house (both are avid golfers) to Look it over. Once there, they
began talking to the lady running-the pro-shop and food bar. She related
to them that the course was on the verge of financial colapse and that the
next nine holes would "never get off the ground". Every comment about the
course ~~nd development was negative and left my buyers cold. To quote my
clients "we had heard enough and tr-i.ed to leave several times only to have
this employee continue to volunteer negative information".
By the way, my clients did buy a $100,000 home in Skyline Subdivision
from me and he will be the new comptroller fora large local commercial
development company.
I would hate to have a serious prospective. home buyer of Cherry Lane
Village be exposed to this type. of ub i~ity.
