White: Early last Spring, after viewing .some e~f= his .homes, we contacted Greek IFicDonald and spent several hours with him going over plans that we would like him to build for us on the golf course at Cherry Lane. Our expectations were filled, we thought, when we moved into our home at 1820 Incline play. I usually work between 75 and 80 hours a week, and when I do get some time off my greatest idea of relaxation i#' playing a few rounds of golf. However, that had been curtailed prior to moving to Boise because the thought of driv- ing 20 miles or so to play was not my idea of relaxing. .,Then we moved to Cherry Lane the driv ing problem was solved but another one arose. The first thing I did was buy a membership for my wife and I at Cherry Lane golf course and set up lessons for the near future with the Pro. All of a sudden there was no pro. Tleither my wife or I enjoy going out because of the mosquitos. Tnfact, my wife refuses. She has used her membership card once. If you ask a friend to join you for a game they just laugh. So you see, the word is out. We moved into our home the middle of June and we have yet to sit on he patio and enjoy a Bar B que. As a matter of fact when we have guests they arrive and leave by the garage door, as the front and back are infested with mosquitos. Besides the mosquitos the golf course is a mess. For the :post part it's like playing in a pasture. There are pools of stagnant water all over it. `nd from our house you will hear statements coming from players on the course that th is is the last time they will ever play there. As for the clubhouse. This is the most improperly managed refreshment spot I have ever seen. To sum this all up, I feel Cherry Lane Village could be one of the most beau- tiful areas around. But someone has to do some work vn it. Frankly, I'm get- ting just a little nervous about my investment. 11th & MAIN STREET • BOISE, IDAHO 83702 • PHONE 208.344-7631 A I/1c1Yau~ RESTAURANT ' T • If there is any.Ching or anyway this can possibly be helped I would certain- ly be appreciative. This is an afterthought, but I feel a very important one. Don't allow animals to follow their owners on a round of golf, as they are being allowed to do now. Sincerely, John R.
