To those concerned with the annexation of 24.004 acres of Carol Subdivision
Please be aware that at the initial meeting of the neighborhood to discuss the installation
of water and sewer to Leslie Way/Dr. the group attending was told that we weren't
wanted as customers unless our septic systems failed and that the project was really for
making said utilities available to Ustick Road and to the east side of Eagle Road. I hope
these were not the general mn of letting the `peons out there' hear what they came to
hear.
I appreciate that about half of the Ca~•ol Subdivision residents have petitioned to be
annexed into the City of Meridian and more power to you and them - but I want you to
know that the remaining residents are not interested in the slightest in becoming members
of the City of Meridian. Annexation will come, eventually, but until you just can't make
up that budget shortfall, please leave the rest of us in the county.
I know this letter is late and was not meant to be discussed at the up coming meeting but I
do hope, at least a few of you read my thoughts on the matter.
May I applaud the choice of dates on which to hold this particular meeting, the eve before
a three day weekend, how extremely thoughtful.

Dear Ms. Rossow,
Your comments have been included in the file on this matter. Regarding your concern
with the meeting date scheduled prior to a holiday, it is per City Ordinance that the
Planning and Zoning Commission meet on the first and third Thursday of every month
unless that day is a holiday.
This matter will also have a Public Hearing
