Dear Mayor Glaisyer and City Council:
I have been working closely with Mr. Bob Baldock, the designer and builder
of the Cherry Lane Golf Course, for the past several days in checking out the
irrigation system, repairing and moving some heads and pipes and filling and
draining some of the wet areas.
To date, the only problems with the control system which we are aware of
are a malfunction in the timing clocks on the central program which appears to
be an equipment malfunction, and one short in a splice which was made by the
golf course maintenance people several weeks ago.
Most of the repairs and alterations should be completed this week with the
exception of the central programmer, which must be returned to the manufacturer
for repair or replacement.
