SHARP Chairman Zoning 8 Plannlny April 15, 1980 Honorable Mayor & City Council City of Meridian 728 Meridian Street Meridian, Idaho 83642 Dear Mayor & Council: Re: Cherry Lane Golf Course Irrigation Water Storage At your request I have reviewed the submittal made by the Engineers for Leavitt-NuPacific outlining details for the .construction of a debris screening structure near the irrigation pump station and for the construction of an off- season irrigation water storage lagoon located in the southeast corner of the existing golf course lake. My comments concerning this submittal are as follows: Debris Screenin Structure. 1. Locate the structure partially into the east bank of the lake or construct a compacted earth fill out to and partially along its north and south side to facilitate access for maintenance and for removal of the screens for cleaning. 2. Revise the detail sketch to show Screen "A" having a 3/8 inch mesh, Screen "B" having No. 4 mesh and Screen "C" having No. 16 mesh. 3. Verify that the weight of each screen will not be detrimental to its removal for cleaning purposes. In my opinion the intent of the screen structure is .satisfied by the details shown on the submitted sketches. Off-Season Irrigation Water La oon. 1.
