the mutual promises, covenants and conditions confined in the Ag_ reemertt between
the, above named .parties dated. January 9, 2007.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE GRQUND WATER.QUALITY ISSUES
PURPOSE
The liydrogeologist's scope. of services, time of completion and compensation shall be
as set forth herein. Services shall generally be described as Engineering Consulting.
Services per the Consultant's proposal dated July, 26, 2005

Per: the City's request, Hydrogeologist will evaluate ground water quality problems wkhin
the water system; review and advise the City on newly implemented USEPA Safb
Drinking V1later Act colas, negotiate with regulatory agenaes over regulatory
requirements and seek vraivers to unnecessary monitoring. requirements, evaluate
emergent problems with individual City water wells including. Source Water Protection
and response to customer-related water quality complaints.
In addition to regulatory submittals, individual task completion. reports will. be developed
as needed and/or. requested by the City.
The Owner will provide all availab~ information necessary to conduct the evaluations
acid develop submittals.

Hydrogeologist will follow through with regulatory agencies to• closure and will work
closely with City's Water Quality Specialist to reduce monitoring costs. while ensuring

TIME OF COMPLETION
Engineering services will be completed on an as needed basis and time of completion
will beset as services are requested.
COMPEN8ATION
The Not-To-Exceed- amount for this Task Order No. 1 is twrenty thousand dollars,
($20,OOO.OOy. The hourly rate for services and direct expenses is attached (Prevailing
Fee:Schedule Effective QctobeP 1~, 200n and by this reference made a' part hereof.
