I'm in receipt of your letter dated February 20th, 2009 (attached). I wanted to clear up a few issues addressed
within your Letter. First, the reasoning for the request for the P&Z hearing to be moved from the 19th of February
to the 51h of March was not due to an inability to prepare as there is nothing to prepare for. The request to move
was because issues within the ITD Ten Mile project and the City of Meridian regarding utilities came up to late to
work out with both ITD and The City prior to the first Hearing. Those issues have now been resolved and the
application will move forward. I see no reason why the application will not be heard on by the 71h of April and I see
no reason at this time to think the plant needs to operate prior to the approval of the application by the City. I
apologize for all of the problems this may have caused the county and appreciate all of the patience that the
county had given. If you have any further question please feel free to call. And if one of you could please forward
to Commissioner Ullman as I don't have her e-mail I would appreciate that.
