Vic,
I don't believe that lodging would be appropriate in this area. That use (hotel, motel, inn, B&B, etc) is very similar to
dwelling units, which is the main reason for the text change in the first place. We wouldn't be supportive of any
overnight accommodations.
Food service, like Food Services of America (warehouse) and restaurants, both would/could be appropriate and I
can support that addition. I will read that (food services/restaurants) into the requested changes for tonight, but if
you feel strongly about the lodging request that is up to you to lobby for (I am cc'ing the Clerk with this a-mail though
so it is part of the record and your concerns are known). I know you have a full schedule today, but if you get time
and are so inclined, please feel free to contact me if there is anything else we need to discuss before the hearing
tonight. Thanks for participating and helping make this application better.
