A Pre-Council meeting of the Meridian City Council was called to order at 6:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, February 10, 2009, by Mayor Tammy de Weerd.
Members Present: Mayor Tammy de Weerd, Keith Bird, Charlie Rountree, Brad
Hoaglun, and David Zaremba.
Others Present: Bill Nary, Tara Green.
Item 1: Roll-call Attendance:
Roll call.

De Weerd: Okay. I'll go ahead and open tonight's Pre-Council meeting. It -- for the
record it is Tuesday, February 10th. It's 6:00 o'clock. I will start with roll-call
attendance.
Item 2: Adoption of the Agenda:
De Weerd: Thank you. Okay. Item 2 is adopt the agenda.
Zaremba: Madam Mayor?
De Weerd: Yes, Mr. Zaremba.
Zaremba: I move we adopt the agenda as published.
Bird: Second.
De Weerd: Okay. I have a motion and a second. All those in favor say aye. All ayes.
motion carried.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Item 3: Executive Session per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(f) - (to consider
and advise its legal representatives in pending litigation);
De Weerd: Okay. Our next item is to adjourn into Executive Session. Do I have a
motion?
Bird: Madam Mayor?

De Weerd: Mr. Bird.
Bird: I move we go into Executive Session as per Idaho State Code 67-2345(1)(f).
Rountree: Second.
De Weerd: Okay. I have a motion and a second to adjourn into Executive Session.
Will you, please, call roll.
Roll-Call: Bird, yea; Rountree, yea; Zaremba, yea; Hoaglun, yea.
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
Rountree: I'm going to bring us back out of Executive Session.
Bird: Mr. President, I move we come out of Executive Session.
Hoaglun: Second.
Rountree: It's been moved and seconded to come out of Executive Session. All those
in favor?
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Rountree: That concludes our Pre-Council meeting. I need a motion.
Bird: Madam Mayor --
Rountree: Thank you.
Bird: Mr. -- I move we adjourn the special meeting.
Hoaglun: Second.
Rountree: It's been moved and seconded to adjourn this special Pre-Council meeting.
Zaremba: Second.
Rountree: All those in favor?
MOTION CARRIED: ALL AYES.
Rountree: We are right on it today -- tonight. We will have about a five to ten minute
break to get reorganized and open up the regular City Council meeting.
