HomeMy WebLinkAboutPublic Hearing NoticeCITY OF MERIDIAN NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho, that the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Meridian will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009, for the purpose of reviewing and considering the application AZ 08-015 of Ronald Van Auker for Annexation and Zoning of 15.05 acres from RUT to C-G and I-L zones; Furthermore, the applicant requests the applications IZZ 08-009 for Rezone of 1.69 acres from C-G to I-L zones; and application PP 08-012 for Preliminary Plat approval consisting of 6non-residential building lots and .one (1) other lot in proposed C-G and I-L zoning districts for Fignut generally located west side of S. Locust Grove Road, north of E. Overland Road and south of I-84. A more particular description of the above property is on file in the Planning Department, 33 E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, and is available for inspection during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may contact the Planning Department at (208) 888-4433 during regular business hours. A copy of the application is available to review upon request. Any and all interested persons shall be heard at said public hearing, and the public is welcome and invited to submit testimony. Oral testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes per person. Written materials should be submitted to the City Clerk's Office at 33 E. Broadway Avenue, Meridian, Idaho 83642, (208) 888-4433 or fax (208) 888-4218 no later than seven (7) days prior to the above hearing date so that all interested parties may examine them prior to the hearing. All materials presented at public meetings shall become properly of the City oil Meridian. The Ada County Highway District may also conduct public meetings regarding this application.
