This Task Order is issued by Owner and accepted by the Hydrogeologist pursuant to
the mutual promises, covenants and conditions contained in the Agreement between
the above named parties dated January 9, 2007.

HYDROGEOLOGIC FRAMEWORK AND GROUND WATER GEOCHEMISTRY
STUDIES OF THE AQUIFER SYSTEM RELIED UPON BY THE CITY

The Hydrogeologist's scope of services, time of completion and compensation shall be
as set forth herein. Services shelf generally be described as Hydrogeologica! Consulting
Services per the Consultant's proposal dated December 15, 2008.
TASK 1.1-CONDUCT HYDROGEOLOGIC FRAMEWORK AND GROUND WATER
GEOCHEMISTRY STUDIES OF THE AQUIFER SYSTEM UNDERNEATH MERIDIAN
Per the City's request, and in cooperation with the City Public Works Department,
Hydrogeologis# will conduct a hydrogeologic framework study of the aquifer system
beneath Meridian. Among other tasks, the Hydrogeologist will 1) synthesize, interpret,
and re-plot available borehole geophysical records as sub-surface cross-sections
beneath the City, 2) compile, plot on tri-linear diagrams, and model all available
geochemistry data for existing supply and test wel{s, 3) attempt to correlate the sub-
surface drilled geologic sections from well to•well across the City including inference of
s#ructural geologic faulting, 4} obtain and evaluate existing research and petroleum
explora#ion deep seismic reflection geophysical surveys as may be helpful to
interpretation of the sub-surface stratigraphy and structure beneath Meridian, and 5)
develop a hydrogeologic framework report on the current understanding of the 3-D
geometry of Meridian's aquifer system with conclusions and recommendations.
The Owner will provide all available information necessary to conduct the modfications.
Hydrogeologist wiN perfomt aQ work tasks, evaluations, plots, and reproductions, for
approval by the City. Hydrogeologist will develop any necessary change orders to the
work and keep the City regularly updated with respect to the work.
Hydrogeologis# will work closely with the City's Public Works Department and the City's
Water Department.
TIME OF COMPLETION
Hydrageoiogic services will be completed by year end 2009 or sooner if possible.
COMPENSATION
The Not To-Exc~d amount for this Task Order No. 0784 is forty-seven thousand, five
hundred and fifteen dollars {$ 47,515.00). The hourly rates for servit~s and direct
expenses is attached as an F~ccet spreadsheet and by this reference made a part hereof.
