Subject: Comments on Fairview Lakes Retai! AP 08-019
Mayor de Weerd & City Council
No specific site plan was provided to identify the area where the proposed landscape island is to be
located, therefore the following will be the concerns to provide minimum levels of fire protection for the
Comments on Fairview Lakes Retail AP 08-019 project:
1. All entrance and internal roads and alleys shall have a turning radius of 28' inside and 48' outside
radius.
2. All fire lanes shall be straight or have a turning radius of 28' inside and 48' outside and shall have
a clear driving surface which is 20' wide and support an imposed weight of 75,000 GVW.
These issues will have to be addressed on the final design of this project, please have the project
designer submit a revised parking lot plan to be approved by the Meridian Fire Department.
