Item #1: Public Hearing Conditional Use Permit for Sandra Murphy:
Mr. Dennis Murphy was present to represent this request:
Mr. Murphy advised the Commission that they were applying for a two
operator beauty salon although there would only be one operator at
the present time.
Commissioner Johnson, 24r. Murphy, have any of the neighbors voiced
objection to this request?
Mr. Murphy, we have had no negative comments from the neighbors or
property owners. We have resided here for ten years and are on good
terms with the neighborhood.
Commissioner Morrow, what about ACHD recommendations?
Mr. Murphy, there is not any sidewalks in this subdivision and it
appears this recommendation should not be enforced as my property
would be the only one with a sidewalk.
There was discussion on the parking situation and Mr. Murphy advised
the driveway had room for two large units as well as the street front-
age which could accomdate two additional units for parking. He said
his wife would be scheduleing the customers so that there would not
be more than two at any one time.
Sewer and Water hookups were discussed as well as the problem with
the sewer line in this area. Mr. Murphy was advised they would be
required to pay additional assessments for sewer and water in con-
juction with this permit. This assessment would probably be one
additional sewer and water hookup in the amount of $700.00. Mr.
Murphy was not to agreeable to this and he was advised it would
be necessary to meet with the Board of Appraiser to resolve this
matter.
Chairman Spencer, opened the meeting for public hearing, there
was no comment, public hearing closed;
