The property, presently owned by James J. and Betty L. Tully, will be developed by Capital Development, Inc., into a residen- tial subdivision following the applicable-regulations and ordinances of the City of Meridian. We request Residential Zone "A".be applied to the property. ~ . We are anxious to proceed with the planning of our development and would r . appreciate your prompt attention to our request. Construction of the Trunk '~~ Sewer running through the subject property will be completed soon and we wish ~,;k~'~~ to be able to market lots and dwellings on the first phase as soon as possible after completion of the sewer system and plant improvements next winter. Since ` it takes several months to prepare all the designs and obtain all the approvals ~ : necessary, we need to begin our planning immediately. Our property adjoins the existing sewage treatment plant which we under- stand will be abandoned when connection is made to the new plant. We have `~~~, < incurred a considerable investment based, in part, on the proximity of our :,.~ . property to the treatment plant property and the liklihood that the City will ~`~1"`=~ develop another fine City Park there.
