Dear Mayor Glaiser and Members of the City Council:
I am writing this letter to encourage you as a group, to con-
tinue to support your comprehensive plan, which includes the
Nahas Development of the regional center contiguous to the
city of Meridian. So I am not misunderstood, let me point
out that Mr. William Agee and I jointly own 35 acres contiguous
to the proposed center. Our purchase of the land followed a
very careful study and survey made on our own of the best
location for a regional mall.
The area situated for the mall as planned, is one that has
been found acceptable by major retailers from all over the
country. The particular location, its distance from Boise and
its central location to the rest of the lower valley has an assured
future. Its location near the heart of central Meridian can do
nothing but strengthen Meridians total economy and broaden
the tax base.
Please do not deviate from your previous long range plan. You
have the absolute best location, already identified, and ready
for its early development.

The Ada County Highway District's Technical Review Committee has
reviewed the proposal for annexation of the Hendren parcel to the
Meridian City Limits. The District requests that the following condi-
tions be complied with in granting the annexation:
1. The developer provide by dedication, 8' of additional right-of-
way on the west side of Locust Grove Road for that street portion abutting
the parcel
If subsequent to annexation, development of the parcel commences then
additional requirements are as follows:
1. Make deposit to the Public Road Trust Fund for the future improve-
ment of Locust Grove Read.
2. Improve the east one half of. Stratford to include curb, gutter,
sidewalk and pavement and provide 12' of paving to the west side of
Stratford for that street portion.abutting.
3. Provide 24' BST(Bituminous Surface Treatment)
from the parcel to Franklin 13oad.
