He has indicated that plans are being made to construct duplex to~•- houses on lots originally intended for single family dwellings. hs a property owner and representative for other property owners in the Franklin Square Subdivision I must bring to your attention our extreme .opposition to Mr. Stubblefiehd~•s proposal. Presently .there are 16 lots designated as fourplex lots, 16 lots designated. as duplex lots-and 76 lots designated for single family dwellings. -0f the 76 single family lots 32 are occupied by individual owners and the remaining !,~ are either unoccupied or vacant lots owned by Mr. Stubblefield. Of the 32 occupied lots 23 owners are represented on the enclosed petition as opposing the proposal, 4 are in favor ,of the proposal, 3 ars employed by Mr. Stubblefield and the remaining 2 were not available for comment. Obviously a ma,jora ty of the property owners- other than Mr. Stubblefield or his employees are against further construction of duplex. townhouses on the remaining vacant lots originally designated for single family dwellings. We fell the increased density,. increased traffic and reduced, privacy are mayor reasons for our opposition. We also feel the investment in our property and community will be seriously affected if these townhouses are constructed. Would you please send written verification this letter and enclosed petition have-been recieved. My address is 735 Hanover Court, Meridian, Idaho 83642.., My telephone number is $8$-661$. Also any information you could supply as to the proper proeeedure to follow fighting this proposal and dates of all public. hearings concerning this matter would be greatly appreciated. By allowing this use at your business, you are violating the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Meridian. Violation of this Ordinance is a misdemeanor that could be punishable by a fine of up to $300.00 for each viola- tion and imprisonment in jail up to 6 months.
