Minutes of the previous meeting were corrected as "P",eeting called to order by Acting P1ayor Richard 4illiams" and approved as corrected. Agenda 1 Roberts Rezone Nearing for "C°'.-located at 403 W. Cherry Lane. Verl Roberts was present to represent his parents and intention to use this home as office. Roberts stated that they are considering remodeling, but their long range plans were to build on the back side, parking lot off of and improve 4th St., putting in curbs and sidewalks. Williams stated that he would have to agree with Planning and Zoning's denial of rezone unless there was very specific plans. He could support a Conditional Use Permit. Roberts asked for a designation that would fit the present and would zone for office when the new zoning plan comes out. Kingsford stated that the Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation -f~tr€end#t#a~aa}-#}se~aeald satisfy that. - ~::~_ _--_.=,'._/-- 6odine stated that the property may be forced to sit fora time, but this would allow a more agreeable outcome. Brewer agreed to a Conditional Use Permit. There were none. liearing closed. Agenda 2 Five P1ile Creek Subdivision Annexation - located North of E. Pine, East of Five Mile Creek. Gordon Baker represented the Annexation. Baker stated that this request was approved by Planning and 7.oning October 9, 1978 and tabled by City Council November 6, 1978. Glaisyer stated that the City of Meridian has more than ample property annexed for residential growth. Caution should be used to annex any more property. Iilliams agreed. Kingsford inquired about plans. Baker stated the plan is Condominiums and single family both, access in on Fairview and Pine and close to the se~~aer, 10 acre tract and density 5. There was discussion The Motion was made by Williams and seconded by 6odine that the Five Mile Creek Subdivision Annexation be denied. August 13, 1979 Agenda 4 Roberts Conditional Use Hearing Arvad Roberts was present to represent the request fora Conditional Use Permit on 403 W. Cherry Lane (Roberts Annexation.) The drawing was discussed as to parking and access off of 4th St. A 15 foot variance was needed for future Cherry Lane improvement. This would be for office use only. The Conditional Use request is for the whole of 158 feet by 159 feet. Parking area on the ldest side will be deleted and should all be off of 4th St. The Motion was made by Mitchell and seconded by Tewksbury that they recommend to the City Council, approval of Roberts Conditional Use for office, subject to access off of 4th St.; half of 4th St. Improvement; and 15 foot variance, with Design Review. The Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. Agenda 1 Federal Revenue Sharing Hearing was opened for the public by the Mayor. There was no comment from the public and hearing was closed. Agenda 2 Roberts Conditional Use Permit - located 403 GI. Cherry Lane. Verl Roberts was present, representing. Drawings of the proposal were displayed. Roberts stated as yet there is no tenant and they are presenting the plan as remodeling the existing house into an office building or tearing down and building a new building if they obtain a permanent tenant, whichever first. There was discussion on parking and closing access off of Cherry Lane. The Motion was made by Williams and seconded by Brewer that the Conditional Use Permit for Roberts located at 403 W. Cherry Lane be accepted, subject to access on 4th St.; half of 4th St. Improvement; and 15 foot variance. He stated he had gone over this with Hudson. Plans should show the complete story.
