To Whom It May Concern,
We are responding to your notice of public hearing dated 24'~ October, 2008 regarding
CUP 08-030 of Kenneth Barr for a Conditional Use Permit approval for an indoor recreation
facility for Neighborhood Fitness located at 2270 W. Everest Lane, Meridian. We will not be
able attend this meeting, so I am forwarding written testimony.
We own the adjacent building located at 2240 W. Everest Lane, which is currently under
lease to a pediatric dentist and a chiropractor. There is in addition to those tenants 1900 sq. ft.
of vacant space.
As we have a cross access and parking agreement with other owners in the Locksa
Business Park, our concern with this proposed use would be parking. With no history of peak
traffic use for a business of this type, we would request that information be made available on
projected parking use, and how any problems might be mitigated. Other than this concern, we
have no objections to this proposed use.
