Subject: Beacon at Southridge Rezone
Sonya,
We have reviewed the report for The Beacon at SouthRidge and find it to be in order and acceptable.
As you will recall, the Planning and Zoning Commission was made aware of this pending rezone hearing when
the Conditional Use application was recently approved for The Beacon at SouthRidge. Along with the recent
approval for modifications to the Development agreement (much of which addressed this specific area of the
SouthRidge development), the requested rezone and the staff report remain consistent with the goals and
development plans for the area.
