Meridian, Idaho 83642 Re: Paramount Subdivision Dear Council Members: City O£Merldian `~itrr ~.'hrk Office My wife and I have an eighty acre farm in Section 30. Although we will not be attending the public hearing, we wanted to have our testimony put in the record. In particulaz, we are very much concerned that the developer of Paramount Subdivision thinks that they should not be required to provide the City with easements so that the N. Slough trunk line and water main can be brought through their property to Meridian Rd. If the City annexes their entire project and approves a preliminary plat on their entire project, we do not understand why they should not be required, as other developers have, to at least provide easements so that other developers upstream of their project can at least go and get sewer and/or water. If the City does not require this as a condition to the annexation and preliminary plat, the developer interested in our property will have no incentive to close on our property. In essence, what should be the market value for our property will be significantly diminished because of the delay, for how long nobody knows, in having City services available to our property.
