We have been asked to assist in the completion of the reconsideration for the
Overland Village project on the corner of Eagle and Overland Rd, that reconsideration
request was approved on September 23, 2008. The hearing for our reconsideration is
scheduled for October 28, 2008. In a very short time we have made great progress in
resolving all outstanding issues raised at the prior council meeting and our team looks
forward to presenting these improvements in support of the project at our
reconsideration hearing. However, in order to assure that we have each element of our
improved application complete prior to the public hearing we will be receiving some
assistance from other area agencies which can not be complete by next Tuesday. We
also have pre-existing conflicts on two dates in November with our development team
which do not allow for us to hear the matter in November.
In light of the progress being made and the scheduling issues noted above we
respectfully request that our public hearing be continued to December 2, 2008.
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are able to accommodate our
request, and thank you for your assistance with this matter.
