HomeMy WebLinkAboutRequest for ContinuanceDEVELOPMENT September 24, 2008 -~` -~-- Honorable Mayor Tammy de Weerd and Meridian City Council Members City of Meridian 33 East Idaho Avenue Meridian, Idaho 83542-2300 RE: Request to Reschedule the Public Hearing for Cavanaugh Ridge Subdivision Dear Mayor Tammy de Weerd and Meridian City Council Members: I just leamed this morning that the Ada County Highway District (ACRD} and the City of Meridian Planning Department would like some additional data and analysis from Kasten Development pertaining to our proposed Cavanaugh Ridge Subdivision application. Part of this new information request centers on the status of an access easement to an adjoining property located south of Cavanaugh Ridge Subdivision. We just leamed about this easement and we need some additional time to understand how we can modify our preliminary plat to ensure access to our neighbor. It Is evident that we will need to request a time extension for our initial public hearing before the Meridian Planning and Zoning Commission. Please consider this letter as our formal request to reschedule our public hearing to the next available date. We are confident that we will have additional engineering data, easement data, and ACRD review comments in time for a hearing during late October 2048. Please let me know if a late October hearing date is acceptable so we can schedule accordingly. Thank you.
