Subject: Janicek Property
Bill,
I am writing this a-mail regarding the public hearing that is taking place tonight with the preposal to
change the plat and zoning for the Janicek property located on the Southwest corner of Chinden and Ten
Mile. We ~do not think it is an appropriate location fora "mixed use" area and we think it should remain
as a residential area. I am confident that we could have a majority of our neighbors sign a pettion
expressing their wishes to have this property remain zoned as residential. Please let me know if a
petition would be a helpful tool to express oposition to the proposed change.
I wanted to attend the hearing this evening but I have a scheduling conflict and I have a couple of
questions that I was hoping you could answer.
Will the minutes from tonight's hearing be availiable for the public?
What are the next steps in the process and how can I participate?
Could I get a copy of the plat showing the proposed changes?
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Christian
