HomeMy WebLinkAboutNotice of HearingCITY OF MERIDIAN NOTICE OF HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the Ordinances of the City of Meridian and the Laws of the State of Idaho, that the Meridian City Council of the City of Meridian will hold a public hearing at the Meridian City Hall, 33 East Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho, at the hour of 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, for the purpose of reviewing and considering the application CPA 08-002 of Rose Law Group for Comprehensive Plan Amendment to modify the Future Land Use Map by changing the land use designation for approximately 10 acres from Low Density Residential to Mixed Use -Community for Eagle and Victory; Furthermore the applicant requests application AZ 08-010 for Annexation and Zoning of 3.75 acres from RUT and R1 to C-N zoning district for Eagle and Victory generally located NWC of E. Victory Road and S. Eagle Road. A more particular description of the above property is on file in the Planning Department, 660 E. Watertower Lane Suite 202, and is available for inspection during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may contact the Planning Department at (208) 884-5533 during regular business hours. A copy of the application is available to review upon request. Any and all interested persons shall be heard at said public hearing, and the public is welcome and invited to submit testimony. Oral testimony may be limited to three (3) minutes per person. Written materials should be submitted to the City Clerk's Office at 33 E. Idaho Avenue, Meridian, Idaho 83642, (208) 888-4433 or fax (208) 888-4218 no later than seven (7) days prior to the above hearing date so that all interested parties may examine them prior to the hearing. All materials presented at public meetings shall become property of the City of Meridian. The Ada County Highway District may also conduct public meetings regarding this application.
